1-800-GOT-JUNK? was born from a simple business idea - to move peoples trash. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? now has expanded to over 400 franchises across 4 Countries. From humble beginings, North America's largest junk Removal company, is now the World’s largest junk removal company.
Discovery and Focus
The unprecented growth of the business created some challenges, namely how do we keep the integrity of the brand intact. We worked with the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? team to focus the marketing objectives:
• Create a unified image for the entire organization
• streamline the marketing message across media formats
• Connect the entire organization to ideas and ideals
• nurture the brand values of efficiency, dependability and “Just Get It Done” attitude
• consolidate marketing materials in preperation for expansion in the UK and Australia


Creating the Experience.
Brand integrity is an essential component in brand building. In as many cases as practical, we standardised the look and message on all marketing materials. The domininant green in the corporate pallet became the champion of all below the line advertising. Business to business marketing communication utilized the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Blue.
Itaic Pixel created Graphic Standards Manual to help maintain the integrity of the brand. The guide, accessible to both internal and external users. It must have a balance between consistency with flexibility; build brand awareness; feature prototypes; capture the spirit of the program and promise positive return on investing in that program.
Building a brand is the shared responsibily of all members of a company. It is however a “top down” priority and Brian and his team embraced the challenge.
Results
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is listed as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada 2007 and three years running among the Best Companies to Work for in B.C according to BC Business Magazine! Revenue growth for 2007 was 51%. Ensuring that 1700+ number of employees across 4 countries undertand how to align their actions with 1-800-GOT-JUNK?s core values is the key component in the companies continued success.
